Comparison: Differences between the Resvent iBreeze Auto CPAP and the Resvent iBreeze Pro Auto CPAP

Resvent iBreeze Auto vs Pro: both list the same pressure range, humidifier and heated tubing. The Pro costs S$100 more and adds two therapy modes, Auto CPAP Women and CPAP-V. Your doctor picks the mode and the pressure, so ask whether your prescription needs either extra mode.

Correction, 21 Oct 2026: an earlier version of this page claimed our AHI numbers on the iBreeze Auto beat those we had on a Philips DreamStation Auto, and that its 0.1 cmH2O pressure steps let you fine-tune pressure "to better effect" than ResMed or Philips machines. We have no published source for either claim, and pressure settings are set by your doctor, not by the user, so both have been removed. The page also called the Pro a "women's model". That label did not fit: the Pro keeps the usual Auto CPAP and CPAP modes and adds a women's mode on top.

YesCPAP sells both machines, and Yes CPAP (Private Limited) is the registrant on the HSA record for the iBreeze range. Keep that in mind as you read. If renting, keeping your current machine or your doctor's advice suits you better, take that route instead.

Resvent iBreeze Auto vs Pro at a glance

We built each row from three sources: what the two YesCPAP product pages listed on 21 October 2026, the photos on those pages, and Resvent's own user manual for the iBreeze CPAP System (document H-4000-000002-00, version 5.0, July 2020). Anything the sources do not cover is left out of the table.

Model names in Resvent's manual and the HSA record	Both list an iBreeze 20A and an iBreeze 20A Pro. The product pages do not print a model code.

Size: both product pages list 24 × 13 × 12 cm. Resvent's manual gives 238 × 178 × 128 mm and about 1.6 kg for the iBreeze CPAP system, and does not split the figure by model. If desk space is tight, measure against the manual figure, which is the larger one.

What the iBreeze Pro adds: two extra therapy modes

Four therapy modes are listed for the Pro, against two for the Auto. Those two extra modes are the whole functional difference that we could confirm.

Auto CPAP Women mode on the iBreeze Pro

The Pro's product page describes the Auto CPAP Women mode as "a gentler pressure algorithm" and says the Pro "adds a gentle algorithm, made bespoke for ladies". That is the full description we have. Resvent's user manual names the 20A Pro model but does not describe this mode, and we could not find a Resvent document that explains how its pressure response differs. So we will not tell you it is gentler by any amount, or that it gives better results for anyone.

Because the usual Auto CPAP and CPAP modes are still there, anyone can use the Pro, and nothing makes the Auto a men's machine. Whether the women's mode is switched on, and with what settings, is for your doctor to decide.

CPAP-V on the iBreeze Pro

The Pro's product page lists CPAP-V as "a 7, 14, or 28 night titration before the CPAP Machine automatically assigns a straight CPAP therapy". The user manual we read does not cover it. A titration period is a clinical tool, so if your doctor wants one, they will tell you, and they set it up. If nobody has mentioned it, ask your doctor before paying extra for it.

What stays the same on the iBreeze Auto and Pro

Apart from the price, the extra modes and the colour, the two product pages list the same things, line for line:

• Automatic pressure range of 4 to 20 cmH2O. Resvent's manual gives the same setting range.
• Heated humidifier with an Auto setting and manual levels 1 to 8, and a pre-heat feature. The manual gives a 290 ml maximum water level and a pre-heat time of up to 30 minutes.
• Heated tubing, with one heated and one non-heated tube in the box.
• Ramp and Auto Ramp, 60 minutes at most. The manual sets ramp time in 5-minute steps.
• Auto Start and Auto Stop. The manual says therapy stops if the mask is off for more than 5 seconds with Auto Stop on.
• Mask Fit check, E-Comp and R-Care (more on those two below).
• SD card, carrier bag, instruction manual, and a 100 to 240 V power brick with a Singapore/UK three-pin plug.
• HSA record DE0507383 printed on both pages.

What are E-Comp and R-Care on the iBreeze?

Both features appear on both product pages, so they do not separate the Auto from the Pro. YesCPAP describes E-Comp as "gradually increasing pressure over the first few days for new users" and R-Care as "optimized pressure, from earlier in the night". Resvent's patient manual does not cover either feature, so we cannot add detail beyond those two lines. If you want to know whether either is switched on for you, ask whoever set up your machine against your prescription.

Both machines need a mask, bought separately. According to the product pages, standard CPAP masks fit either machine, with one exception: masks made for the ResMed AirMini.

Colour is the other visible difference. On the photos, the iBreeze Auto has a black glass front with a silver body and a black dial. Its sibling, the Pro, has a white front, a white dial and rose-pink trim. Both put the screen on the left and the dial on the right.

Is the iBreeze Pro worth S$100 more?

For most buyers it comes down to one question to ask your doctor: does your prescription call for the Auto CPAP Women mode or CPAP-V?

• The iBreeze Auto suits you if your prescription is for auto-CPAP or fixed CPAP (our CPAP vs Auto CPAP guide explains the two). Those are the modes the Auto lists, and the extra S$100 would pay for modes you would not use.
• The iBreeze Pro suits you if your doctor wants the Auto CPAP Women mode or a CPAP-V titration, or wants to keep that option open. It also suits you if you simply prefer the white and rose-pink finish. That is a fair reason to pay more, as long as you know it is the reason.
• Neither suits you if your doctor asks for separate inhale and exhale pressures. That is a bilevel machine, such as the iBreeze Auto BiPAP.

If you are still waiting for a sleep study, wait. Neither machine should be bought before a doctor has read your results and written a prescription.

iBreeze 20A and 20A Pro: which model codes are these?

Resvent's user manual covers four models: iBreeze 20C, 20C Pro, 20A and 20A Pro. It notes that the Auto humidity setting and the pre-heat feature are not available on the 20C. Singapore's medical device register, run by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), lists all four under record DE0507383, registered on 17 October 2022 as Class B devices, among 11 iBreeze models in that record. The record lists model names but does not say what "Pro" adds.

YesCPAP's product pages do not print the model code for the Auto or the Pro. If the exact code matters to you or your doctor, check the label on the unit, or ask us before you buy. For more on where the iBreeze is made and how the register works, read who makes the Resvent iBreeze.

A note on pressure settings

Pressure is not a reason to choose one of these machines over the other. Both list the same 4 to 20 cmH2O range, and your doctor sets the pressure on whichever one you buy. Resvent's patient manual gives the ramp start pressure in 0.5 cmH2O steps and a static pressure accuracy of ±0.5 cmH2O. It does not give a step size for the therapy pressure itself, which is why the old 0.1 cmH2O claim is gone.
